5 life changing ways to understanding the PAIN OF LIFE
My Ambitions as a Ridah (Rider) Part 3
Ridah - a name that is Arabic in origin. It is directly linked to the I AM/GOD experience by living ones PURPOSE; literally means "contentment", "satisfaction" and "being well pleased."
Rider-An individual that is down for whatever, this person is fearless. This person will stand for anything they believe in (family, career, friends, money, success, education, petitions, changes, love ones, making situations better, etc) A rider would go to great length to achieve their goals, missions or objective and will not stop for anything until it’s accomplished. Riders will do these accomplishments even if it cost them great sacrifices. But their success will be their reward.
SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO BE TORN DOWN, IN ORDER TO BE BUILT BACK UP…
Have you ever asked yourself this question? Why is this happening to me!? Understand
this and understand it well.
Bad things happen to all of us…because its supposed to. Yes, this sounds harsh…cold and the
trauma that many people have been through in their lives rank from moderate to absolutely
horrible. However, by the time you finish reading this information, you will have a different
perspective on why we all must experience difficult times in our lives.
I have two previous blog post that are focused on My Ambitions as a Ridah (Rider). In
this series I am focusing on my personal growth within the early stages of my
adulthood. In religious, metaphysical, spiritual and occult realms of thought, there are
many takes on this time in our lives.
I will give brief explanations on 5 within Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Numerology and Gnosis.
The beginning stages of the most difficult period in my life is known in Christianity as
“The Fire of Affliction. The fire either destroys or refines. This “fire” either comes as a
result of a person constantly partaking of activities that could be considered selfish in
nature, self-destructive to self and harmful to others, or because the time has come for a
person to truly recognize their higher purpose.
Usually the latter comes in the midst of such a person consciously following the
beginning stages of the soul journ. I speak of a person who is active in seeking answers
to life’s questions.
The “FIRE” jumped on me when I was fired from God’s Strength Records and intensified a few
years later, when I completely stopped having sex, stopped drinking alcohol, stopped going to
“the club,” and the strip clubs. It was as if ‘That FIRE” was waiting on me.
(1) First there is what is called “The Consuming Fire” one of two subdivisions of the Fire
of Affliction. In “The Consuming Fire,” which I believe is dedicated to the hard headed,
experiences such as depression, loss of relationships that are of the most valuable are
common and several streaks of bad luck.
The most mysterious experience is one of actually smelling like smoke. I found in my research
that some people who have gone through this have even experienced real third degree burns,
even though I was unable to find any visual proof as of the writing of this post.
During this spiritual ordeal, the person going through, the participant, usually fails to realize
that the same wild activity, just makes the pain worse, adding fuel to the fire.
Sometimes people figure it out, yet many do not.
The second subdivision, which could be a description of what I went through, is called
“The Refiners Fire.” In this situation, fire is not lit to that ass for actions of selfishness,
harming others and general debauchery, but rather the spirit realm, the ALL,
sees that you are making positive changes in your life.
Depending on the path that one has chosen before this present life, serious refinement, serious
molding, and serious lessons must be learned in order to have the necessary tools for growth
The refinement is needed for a person to 100% follow a purpose…destiny without
deviation. That success may be experienced soon or later in life depending on the
thoroughness of the lesson learned.
Unlike in the consuming fire, there is light at the end of the tunnel, based on prior positive
actions, there is no smell of smoke and it is all about refinement. I would add that it is possible
for a person to experience both, based on the willingness to look in the mirror and take self-
responsibility for actions taken.
You chose what fire you go through.
James 1:2-4 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
ISAIAH 48:10 I have ·made you pure [refined you], but not by fire, as silver is made pure. I have purified you ·by giving you troubles [L in the furnace of affliction/suffering]. (The Expanded Bible)
(2) In Islam, difficulties are often called “Calamities.” In the Holy Quran, Chapter Al- Baqra Verse No:155 it is stated;
“Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere” (2:155)
I will address the last three systems of thought and belief in the next post. Be sure to subscribe to Thought Elevation Ola for more in this series and other information to jog the thought process.
