5 Life Changing Ways to Understand the PAIN OF LIFE

5 life changing ways to understanding the PAIN OF LIFE

My Ambitions as a Ridah (Rider) Part 4

Ridah - a name that is Arabic in origin. It is directly linked to the I AM/GOD experience by living ones PURPOSE; literally means "contentment", "satisfaction" and "being well pleased."
Rider-An individual that is down for whatever, this person is fearless. This person will stand for anything they believe in (family, career, friends, money, success, education, petitions, changes, love ones, making situations better, etc) A rider would go to great length to achieve their goals, missions or objective and will not stop for anything until it’s accomplished. Riders will do these accomplishments even if it cost them great sacrifices. But their success will be their reward.

One thing that you cannot deny is that the mysteries of life are plentiful. If you are reading this then you are seeking answers. Are you brave enough to ask the questions? Are you afraid to leave the crowd? I covered Christianity and Islam in my last post. How ironic that there are similarities…hmmm. That should make you think. Let us continue.

(3) In Buddhism, negativity that must be rooted out of a person is called “The three poisons.” These “three poisons” include Moha-(delusion, confusion), Raga-(greed, sensual attachment), Dvesha (hatred, ill will).

Greed refers to our selfishness, misplaced desire, attachment, and grasping for happiness and satisfaction outside of ourselves. Hatred refers to our anger, our aversion and repulsion toward unpleasant people, circumstances, and even toward our own uncomfortable feelings.

Delusion refers to our dullness, bewilderment, and misperception; our wrong views of reality. The poisons of greed, hatred, and delusion are a byproduct of ignorance—ignorance of our true nature, the awakened heart of wisdom and compassion.

Arising out of our ignorance, these poisonous states of mind then motivate nonvirtuous and unskillful thoughts, speech, and actions, which cause all manner of suffering and unhappiness for ourselves and others.- http://www.sunyatacentre.org/the-three-poisons/

(4) In Numerology difficulties are known as Challenges. Challenges that we agreed to before we came into physical existence. I have included two quotes and websites that give a brief introduction to the Numerological explanation of challenges.

A challenge can be a learning experience, something through which a person can gain certainty and clarity. You are being challenged to know more about yourself, to gain skills, experience, and confidence.

Challenges revealed with numerology are not an indication of a lack. Instead, they are an indication of special traits or talents. These can be accepted and grown into, becoming a foundation for increased happiness and life satisfaction.

If rejected, a challenge can be experienced as a difficulty in life. Therefore, the challenges are something it's prudent to pay attention to — to be aware of and to experience for the self-discoveries.-http://affinitynumerology.com/using-numerology/the-challenges.php#maincontentcontinue

All of us are born with certain weaknesses and strengths. Numerology views life as a never-ending process of learning about ourselves. This constant learning helps us to realize our potential and turn weaknesses into strengths. In order to do this, we need to be willing to confront those weaknesses and consciously work on improving.

There are four distinct Challenges that we all face through the course of our lives. Sometimes it can be the same Challenge repeating, other times they can all be unique. However they exist to teach us specific life lessons. The Challenges are present at different points in our lives and affect us for certain approximate durations of time.

They are all present at the time of birth and wait patiently in the wings until it is their turn to step into action. You can utilize the link below to calculate your personal challenge numbers.(Many numerologist present only 3 challenges numbers that coincide with 3 pinnacle numbers in there calculations.)

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology is great place to start in the study of Numerology.

(5) There is also the study of Gnosis, which is knowledge acquired through personal experience, as opposed to knowledge that we are told or believe in. It is knowing developed through actual experiences not belief, not faith. Yes, there are books upon books that explore the topic of Gnosis, but growth is purely based on personal experiences, which lead to truth.

Ultimately, following no one or “nothing” but yourself while recognize GOD within yourself. With that being said there is a concept within Gnosis known as The Four Ordeals. It is an esoteric explanation of what every person who is making a positive change in their lives will and must experience in order to get to the “other side of the mountain” like the Christian folk say.

This topic is included within an excellent lecture called The Elements in Spiritual Growth, which is a part of a free online course on Alchemy. Here is the link http://gnosticteachings.org/courses/alchemy/3071-the-elements-in-spiritual-growth.html.

The Four Elements deal with facing the parts of ourselves that are preventing us from excelling in life. These are trials were you face YOUR TRUE UGLINESS. Everything about you that needs to be tossed to the side, you must face in order to move forward in life and these trials come in the form of the four elements.

There is a quote from the lecture that is attributed to Samael Aun Weor, from his book The Revolution of Beelzebub. “The four ordeals of earth, fire, water, and air are presented simply for the moral examination of the disciple. All of our defects and moral faults are precisely the negative aspects of the four elements of Nature, and we have to convert ourselves into kings and queens of it.”

Additionally the lecture states “Through psychological tests you will see what you are and be able to change.”

In summary every belief system has a description of what could be considered a “dark period” in our lives. However, if people are able to attain the proper knowledge before such an event or during, they then can understand why it is happening. Utilizing the proper thought during this time, which is key and taking the proper actions, will lessen the “blows” and ultimately lead to an outcome of being able to look back and say “I made it.”  Be sure to subscribe to Thought Elevation Ola for more in this series and other information to jog the thought process.
